Hampton Park Primary School has been at the heart of this community for over 100 years. Generations of students, staff, and families have come together here to learn, grow, and create lasting memories.
While many things have changed, our school remains a place of belonging, where learning is exciting and friendships are made. Guided by our values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience, we create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best.We believe in empowering lifelong learners who thrive in an inclusive and connected community. We provide strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, providing multiple support programs to ensure no child is left behind. Our teachers understand that the way they deliver the curriculum is just as important as the content, actively engaging students to bring learning to life. Our students enjoy specialist subjects like Digital Technologies, Science, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education, and Mandarin, helping them explore their creativity, develop problem-solving skills, and discover their passions.Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Our Wellbeing Hub provides a safe space where students receive support, build social skills, and develop emotional regulation strategies. In 2025, we have started implementing Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) as a framework to enhance student behaviour, wellbeing, and learning. This approach fosters positive, respectful relationships among students, staff, and the community while promoting a safe, orderly, and respectful environment for all. We work closely with our feeder kindergartens and high schools to support smooth transitions for all our students, ensuring they feel confident and prepared for their next stage of learning. Through social-emotional learning programs, small group support, and targeted interventions like Brick by Brick and fine motor programs, students gain confidence and resilience, self-awareness, and opportunities to develop positive relationships. We foster connection through lunchtime clubs, a Breakfast Club, and access to a school psychologist and speech pathologist. Beyond the classroom, students explore and grow through excursions, incursions, swimming, beach days, and more.
Our school is deeply connected to our families and the wider community. Through our Community Hub, we offer English classes, playgroups, and adult learning opportunities. Families are always welcome at our school events, from the Foundation picnic and Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations to our art show, school concert, and information sessions. We also hold fortnightly assemblies to celebrate our students and bring everyone together.
We are a passionate and dedicated teaching community, who work together to create the best learning experiences for our students. Staff are supported through collaborative planning, professional learning teams, coaching, and mentoring, ensuring that we all continue to grow and thrive.
I invite you to visit our school. You’ll not only see our wonderful learning environment but also experience the positive energy and sense of community that makes Hampton Park Primary so special. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!
