Perceptual Motor ProgramThe Prep children participate in a Perceptual Motor Program TWICE a week which is conducted in the GP room. This program provides activities to help the students develop fine and gross motor coordination skills.CampsAll Grade 6 students have the opportunity to participate in a 5 day adventure camp in the last week of Term 2. The venue is Coonawarra Camp in Gippsland.Grade 4 students are also offered the opportunity of attending a 3 day camp during Term 4 of each year. SwimmingAll students from Prep – Grade 4 are each year offered the opportunity to attend swimming lessons at the Casey ARC. The grade Prep program is a 4 lesson program while children in Grades 1-4 attend an 8 lesson program.Students in Grade 5/6 attend a Beach Safety Day during February of every year. Inter-School SportSuccess at the inter-school level for this area highlights Hampton Park Primary School as an “elite” sporting school.Hampton Park competes at a District level in major events such as Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics, Winter Sport and Summer Sport

A range of programs are used at Hampton Park in order to give opportunities for your child to be successful in the Interpersonal Development & Personal Learning Domains of the VELS. These include:
Civics and Citizenship strengthens understanding and valuing of the self. It teaches why citizens need a sense of personal identity within their own community and how they can contribute to communities. Through Civics and Citizenship students
develop an appreciation for the uniqueness and diversity of Australia, our citizens and culture. They value what it means to be Australian and explore Australia’s role within the neighbouring region and the world.
WALT, We Are Learning To, assists our students in identifying the focus of what they are learning each day.
WILF, What I’m Looking For, identifies what the teachers are focusing on in their students’ learning.
